Asuransi Wahana Tata Officially Announced Representative Office in Ternate
TERNATE, Gp – Representative Office of PT Asuransi Wahana Tata at Jalan Pemuda No. 129 Toboleo Village, North Ternate City, yesterday (23/4) has been officially announced.
As a general insurance company, which is turning 50 years in 2014, PT Asuransi Wahana Tata is targeting to be the big five out of hundreds general insurance companies in Indonesia.
“The national premium target which has been set in 2013, Rp 1.85 trillion, we will keep developing our services, especially the online service which cover not less than 62 Branches and marketing offices which are spread in all big cities in Indonesia.” The President Director of Asuransi Wahana Tata, Christian Wanandi said.
He said, essentially, the set target of Rp 1.85 trillion for this year, Asuransi Wahana Tata could keep developing by recruiting new partners, approaching its 50 years old in 2014.

JAKARTA. Agency distribution line is still the mainstay of insurance company to increase their premium. Thus, Asuransi Binagriya Upakara and Asuransi Wahana Tata are planning to add more than 200 insurance agents in this year.
Asuransi Binagriya is planning to add 300 agents. Currently, total agent hired by this insurance company owned by Bank Tabungan Negara (BTN) is 200 people. The recruitment will be performed in all over Indonesia.

Jakarta - PT Asuransi Wahana Tata in 2012 obtained the premium of Rp 1.59 trillion, or increased 20% compared to 2011 which was Rp 1.56 trillion. The President Director of Asuransi Wahana Tata, Christian Wanandi said that the increase of last year’s premium achievement was not followed by a satisfying underwriting (emission guarantor) result, or was only Rp 268 billion.
“There is almost no improvement from last year, it is because of an unfavorable condition due to many claims, such as natural disaster. In 2012, the claim was Rp 732 billion,” Christian said in Jakarta, Thursday (21/3). This year, He continued, the company targeted the premium achievement of Rp 1.8 trillion or increased 15% from the premium achievement in 2012.
This target was not big, especially considering the uneasy business situation currently. “This is pretty much realistic for us, because we realize that in 2013 we will face some challenges which are not less severe than the previous year, such as competition of competitors’ power, government regulation and policy which will be more strict,” He explained.

JAKARTA - PT Asuransi Wahana Tata (Aswata) has recorded its premium achievement in 2012 that reached Rp 1.59 trillion, increased 20% compared to the premium achievement in 2011 which was Rp 1.56 trillion. The President Director of Asuransi Wahana Tata, Christian said that the increase of premium achievement in 2012 was not followed by a satisfying result on underwriting which only reached Rp 268 billion.
