Pasar Asuransi Kendaraan Tumbuh 10%

SEMARANG, suaramerdeka.com - Banyaknya tantangan yang dihadapi industri otomotif seperti aturan uang muka kredit dan banyaknya persaingan Agen Tunggal Pemegang Merek (ATPM) tak menyurutkan kinerja jasa asuransi kendaraan otomotif. Pasar asuransi kendaraan diprediksi masih akan tumbuh 10% di tahun ini.

Bisnis.com, JAKARTA-- Unit usaha syariah (UUS) yang akan dibentuk oleh PT Asuransi Wahana Tata rencananya bakal lebih banyak mengincar nasabah ritel dibandingkan dengan nasabah korporat.

Eddy Chandra, Direktur Keuangan PT Asuransi Wahana Tata, mengatakan pemasaran produk asuransi syariah ini juga diharapkan tidak terkonsentrasi di salah satu daerah, melainkan seluruh cabang perseroan.

Bisnis.com, JAKARTA - PT Asuransi Wahana Tata berencana menjajaki lini asuransi kesehatan pada Oktober tahun ini sebagai bagian diversifikasi bisnis perseroan.

Eddy Chandra, Direktur Keuangan PT Asuransi Wahana Tata, mengatakan pihaknya sekarang sedang mencari formula yang sesuai untuk pemasaran produk ini. Rencananya, asuransi kesehatan ini akan dipasarkan terpadu dengan lini asuransi lainnya.

“Bisa asuransi rumah atau kendaraan bermotor,” kata Eddy, Jumat (21/7/2013).

Jakarta, 1 September 2013 – National Customer Day, which was launched by the President of Republic of Indonesia on 4 September 2003, basically is a memorial day for the companies in Indonesia for its commitments in giving premium services to the customers. Asuransi Wahana Tata has received an award of ”Best Insurance - Insurance Award 2013” for the category of General Insurance Company with equity of Rp. 250 – 750 billion based on the Financial Performance of 2012

 

Jakarta, 13 June 2013 – Located in Sasono Mulyo Ballroom, Le Meridien Hotel, Jakarta, PT Asuransi Wahana Tata has received an award of “Best Insurance – Insurance Award 2013” based on the Financial Performance of 2012 for the category of General Insurance Company with equity of Rp 250 – 750 billion.

For this award, Asuransi Wahana Tata received the predicate of “Best General Insurance 2013 with equity of Rp 250 – 750 billion”. The awards were given to 9 categories/classes among one hundred thirty (130) insurance and re-insurance companies. One category for 4 re-insurance companies, four categories for 82 general insurance companies and four categories for 44 life insurance companies.

CORPORATE IMAGE AWARD 2013 – INDONESIA’S MOST ADMIRED COMPANIES (IMAC)

Asuransi Wahana Tata has received ”Corporate Image Award  – Indonesia’s Most Admired Companies (IMAC) 2013” with ”Excellence in Building and Managing Corporate Image” predicate for ”Non-Vehicle Insurance” category

Jakarta, 12 June 2013 – For the second times PT Asuransi Wahana Tata received ”Corporate Image Award – Indonesia’s Most Admired Companies (IMAC) 2013” which was given in the inauguration night by Frontier Consulting Group which was cooperated with Bloomberg Businessweek, at Ballroom I Hotel Mulia Senayan, Jakarta.

For this award, Asuransi Wahana Tata received ”Excellence in Building and Managing Corporate Image” predicate for ”Non-Vehicle Insurance” category. The awards were given to 93 categories of industry, among of them were companies which were incorporated  in Banking industry (conventional & Sharia), Finance/Leasing, Insurance, Securities, Food & Beverage, Retail, Distribution, Pharmacy, Paper, Vehicle, Heavy Equipment, Oil & Gas, Hotel, Travel Agent, Airways, Restaurant, Hospital, Developer, Television, Telecommunication, Electronic and many more.

The survey carried out to get the result for giving this award was performed by four groups of respondents, namely management/businessman, stock holder/investor, journalist, and public. The criteria of respondents in management group were people with age between 30-60 years old and hold a minimum position as a manager of goods/services Company. Respondents for investor group were people who have performed shares transaction in the last one year and/or currently invested capital in a form of shares, bonds, or mutual funds on a specific company, and with age between 30-60 years old. Respondents for journalist group were people with age between 20-50 years old and have a profession as economic and industrial journalist in mass media. Meanwhile, public respondents were taken from society with age between 21-60 years old and have minimum expenditure of Rp 5 million per month. Total respondents involved were 2.350 people, which consisted of: 855 management panel respondents, 670 investor panel respondents, 150 journalist respondents in Jakarta, 670 public panel respondents. Accordingly explained by Handi Irawan, the Chairman of Frontier Consulting Group, in the inauguration night.

The survey was performed in March – April 2013 with face to face interview, telephone interview, and online survey methods. The sampling method for management respondents used face to face interview, for investor and journalist used purposive sampling and for public respondents used multistage area random sampling.

Measurement of this Corporate Image 2013 was obtained from Corporate Image Index (CII), by using four dimensions: quality, performance, responsibility, and attractiveness. Quality dimension consisted of four attributes: high concern to the customers, high quality product/service, trustworthy company, and innovative company. Performance dimension consisted of two attributes: good corporate governance, and opportunity to grow and develop. On the other hand, responsibility dimension consisted of care to the environment and social responsibility attribute. Lastly, attractiveness dimension, determined by company’s attractiveness as a dream working place and how far the company has quality employees.

The Corporate Image Index (CII) was obtained from average value of these four dimensions. Winners for all categories of industry were determined based on CII score, which were average value of every group of respondent with management value 40%, investor 30%, journalist 20%, and public 10%. The company with excellent CII was the company which has CII score more than one and higher than the average industry and also in the top two position in every category.

After receiving this award, Christian Wanandi as the President Director of Asuransi Wahana Tata said his impression that this award was the proof of public trust to the performance of Asuransi Wahana Tata, and for the employees, this award was the result of company’s objectives which were stated in the vision and mission. As for that, Asuransi Wahana Tata will keep improving its services to reach the vision, mission and IPTEC (Integrity, Professionalism, Team Work, Excellence dan Creativity) culture value, with standard service program “WE CARE” (Welcome, Emphaty, Creative, Accurate, Responsive, Excellence). All of those in overall have shown positive result, which was reflected in the financial statement of Asuransi Wahana Tata of 2012, where Asuransi Wahana Tata reach the big five general insurance company with total gross premium of Rp 1.62 trillion, therefore the company deserved to receive this award.

Asuransi Wahana Tata has exceeded the target of insurance premium achievement in 2012


Jakarta, 21 March 2012 – PT Asuransi Wahana Tata has reached its premium achievement in 2012 in the amount of Rp. 1.59 Trillion, increased 20% from the premium achievement in 2011, and exceeded the production target which has been set previously, which was Rp. 1.56 Trillion (source: Income Statement per 31 December 2012, unaudited).
By giving gratitude to the presence of God Almighty, the achievement in this 2012 for us is a struggle in togetherness, every personnel in all sections in the Head Office, Regional Office and Marketing Office which has given a big contribution and role to the company. Targeting Premium of Rp 243,5 Billion For This Year

PT Asuransi Wahana Tata is one of the national private companies that run in General Insurance sector in Indonesia, which was established 48 years ago.
