Indonesia celebrates the National Batik Day on 2 October, based on the date of UNESCO's decision that formally recognize Indonesia’s batik as a world cultural heritage. It is an international recognition for Batik and Indonesian culture.

To commemorate this year's National Batik Day, the Board of Directors and employees of PT Asuransi Wahana Tata wear Batik to work in the office on Thursday, 2 October 2014.
